The first time I ever heard of International Women’s Day? I think it was 2004. I thought it was the coolest thing ever - a full day to celebrate women and the amazing things we do and achieve. Every year since, I celebrate in some form or another.

💜

Last year I was in Puebla, Mexico. This year, March 8th happens to have another significance. It’s the start of MS Awareness Month.

I started supporting MS research when my brother was diagnosed. After that, I learned of more and more people living with MS - including three of my closest friends

💜

So this year, to celebrate International Women’s Day, I want to honor my three amazing MS warrior friends. They are badasses. They are fighters. And although there are plenty of struggles MS brings along, they do the best they can every step of the way.

💜

To support them and their journey, I’m participating in the Texas MS 150. My goal is to raise $5000 for MS research in hopes that one day my friends can hear the words “we’ve found a cure”

Join me in celebrating International Women's Day & MS Awareness Month by making a donation here.

With gratitude,

Annamarie
